It can be reached either from Ofantina, from the Sant'Angelo - Industrial Area junction there is a fast-flowing road, or from the state road that connects Lioni to Sant'Angelo or Torella d.L. If you choose, coming from Lioni, the junction for Nusco-Bagnoli (turn left immediately before the petrol station) there are roads with little traffic and with the scenic complex of the Picentini mountains on the left.

A place out of time, an oasis of peace as the sign in the internal entrance says ("respect this place of peace". Entering it by bike, silent and discreet, is a gesture of respect in the wake of the pilgrims on the path of San Guglielmo, patron saint of Irpinia.

Lake Laceno is a beautiful place in Irpinia, a stage of the Giro d'Italia also arrived last May.

Unique place reached after a tiring climb from Bagnoli Irpino. Memorable place for the exploits of the Giro d'Italia.

These roads have hosted the Giro d'Italia several times. Lake Laceno was also the arrival point of the fourth stage of the 2023 Giro won by the Frenchman Aurélien Paret-Peintre.

Lake Laceno is located on a plateau at about 1,050 meters above sea level. The water basin is gradually emptying due to drought and the opening of some leaks in the subsoil following the Irpinia earthquake (1980). From the shores of the lake you can admire the surrounding peaks of the Picentini Mountains.
