Beautiful road closed to traffic that follows the Melfa gorges along the path of San Benedetto

Swan Lake, known as the "little Atlantis of Abruzzo", is an unsuspected treasure located under the waters of Lake Capodacqua. With crystal clear waters and low temperatures, it reveals ancient ruins and sunken treasures, including traditional mills, a paint factory and ancient lanes. Underwater activity is permitted, guaranteeing excellent visibility, but swimming and snorkelling are prohibited.

Roccasecca, located in the province of Frosinone, is a city rich in history and culture. Famous for being the birthplace of St. Thomas Aquinas, it offers interesting historical sites such as the Castle of the Counts of Aquino and the Church of San Tommaso. The village is an excellent destination for those who are passionate about history and want to explore the roots of one of history's greatest philosophers.

The climb up the Passo San Nicola from the northern side is much easier than from the south. Steepest section is around 6%, but most of the climb is in the 3-4% region. At the top you do not have wide view, however if you decent towards the southern side you get a lot of views of the valley towards Itri.

Monte Solo (511 m a.s.l.) is a hill of the Ausoni Mountains in the Lazio Anti-Apennines. On the top of the mountain there are two iron statues, 14 meters high, depicting the patron saints of the village Sant'Elena and San Sinforo martyr. The two statues were placed there on the occasion of the jubilee year.
