마을을 내려다보는 절벽 꼭대기에 지어진 산 레오 요새는 르네상스 시대의 가장 인상적인 군사 건축물 중 하나입니다. 15세기에 프란체스코 디 조르지오 마르티니에게 귀속된 디자인에 따라 개조된 이 요새는 거의 함락되지 않는 요새로 여겨졌습니다. 수세기에 걸쳐 교황의 감옥이 되었으며, 생애 마지막 해에 유명한 모험가 카글리오스트로를 수용했던 곳으로 알려져 있습니다. 오늘날 박물관으로 방문할 수 있으며, 요새의 역사, 고대 무기, 감옥, 카글리오스트로에 대한 전시를 개최하고 발마레키아 계곡의 멋진 전망을 제공합니다.

The Hermitage of Sant'Alberico is a fascinating place located at 1,147 meters above sea level in the Emilia-Romagna region, precisely between the town of Balze and the Celle monastery. This hermitage is located in a deep gorge at the foot of the Aquilone, Celle and Ocri mountains. An atmosphere of austere solitude reigns here, inviting reflection and prayer.

The Rocca di San Leo is a fortress located on the municipality of the same name in the province of Rimini, Emilia Romagna, Italy. The fortress is built on the top of the rocky peak that overlooks the Leonine town and dominates the Valmarecchia. It was built in 1441 by Francesco di Giorgio Martini to keep up with the new military techniques of the time. The fortress was used as a prison and hosted historical figures such as Felice Orsini and Cagliostro.
