T-Rex spotting on Etna! During the climb from Zafferana Etnea on the south side of Etna, you'll suddenly encounter a magnificent miniature T-Rex—a surprising and playful work of art along the way. From this vantage point, you'll also have a magnificent view of Etna and the sea. An unexpected encounter in the heart of Sicily's volcanic landscape! 🌋🦖

Playing the piano in Milo🎹 — the village is situated on a magnificent vantage point with views of Mount Etna and the sea. In the center stands an impressive, life-size bronze statue of Lucio Dalla and Franco Battiato, two of the most influential Italian musicians of the 20th century. A moving place that brings together music, art, and nature.

Even in bad weather or under dark clouds, the trip up is worthwhile. The cable car takes you up to 1,900 meters. By the time we reached the top, the clouds had almost disappeared due to the wind.

At Piano Provenzana the asphalt ends of what can be considered the north-east side of Etna, namely that of Linguaglossa. In winter it is a popular ski resort, while in summer it is possible to continue pedaling towards the mouths of the volcano thanks to a fat-wheeled bicycle. Bars, kiosks and other types of services such as rentals and guides are often open here.

The structure offers hospitality, catering and camping but also the possibility of renting bikes and horseback riding on Etna.

From the mountain station you can take beautiful hikes to various craters.
