Every year on August 15th, pilgrimages are made from several places in the parish and neighboring parishes to the Klampferkapelle. The first chapel was built in 1894 by the married couple Josef and Maria Haiden. Klampferwagner built. It is believed that a serious illness occurred in the family and after recovery this chapel was built as a thank you. Over time the chapel became dilapidated and it was decided to rebuild the chapel on the site. The inauguration of the newly built chapel took place on August 15, 1991.

A southern Styrian gem that invites you to linger

The vinegar rose is a wild rose species found in St. Stefan im Rosental and has served as a coat of arms for the municipality since 1954. The five leaves are assigned the basic elements earth-plants-fire-air-water.

The rosarium in St. Stefan im Rosental is a public park that impresses with its special floral splendor. The sea of flowers is located in the 10,000 m² amusement park in the center of the village and impresses with more than 500 rose bushes in about 100 different types of roses. Historic rose varieties can also be found here, as well as lovely wild roses and the typical English rose. Rare specimens such as the "Green Rose", a Rosa viridiflora, can also be discovered in the Rosarium.

On your bike you can cycle on the little-traveled roads over the hills, visit the towns and villages of the area and enjoy the nature. Especially nice is a trip to the nearby Raab valley with its wide meadows and floodplains. If you prefer to walk, then the Schwalbenhof is also the perfect base for your active holiday, because the wide meadows and quiet forests spoil you with comfortable and varied hiking trails. At the Schwalbenhof you have the choice between two cozy apartments. Little visitors enjoy the goats, chickens, cats and guinea pigs that live on the farm and the large residents enjoy a glass of home-made spirits and liqueurs in the evening.
