Is a former Cistercian abbey.

The former market square is no longer an open space, but has been landscaped. Fortunately, many of the original two-story buildings still stand today.

The patronage of this church, "Maria (or, alternatively, the Assumption of Mary," refers to one of the many memorial days or feast days honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. It dates back to the Feast of Her Assumption into Heaven, which the (Catholic) Church celebrates annually on August 15th. In Orthodox churches, the feast is called "Dormition of the Virgin Mary." In many rural areas, it used to be customary for the population to gather bundles of herbs on this day and bless them during the festive service. This custom has been partially preserved or, in some places, revived.

A beautiful tour with almost 40 km of trails, great bike paths. The scenery is a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended. Plenty of opportunities for rest and refreshment. The towns of Fehring and Feldbach offer places to stop for refreshments. Note: Not all restaurants are open on Sundays!

A beautiful path, partly on gravel, takes you directly along the Raab. Beautiful views of the river and comfortable rest areas await you along the way. A pleasure for cycling.
