You should definitely avoid the market with a bike. Luckily no one was in Bardolino at the moment, one in Lazise was enough.

Bella Italia - the entire lake and surrounding area is incredibly beautiful - it's hard to put it into words. Mountainous in the north, rather flat in the south, mostly quite coarse pebble beach and yet there is a wonderfully fine sandy beach along the east coast. Wonderful climate.

Between Bardolino and Lazise you drive directly on the beach

very flowery and colorful lakefront, cemented and with a suspended wooden walkway, I recommend the passage here to avoid traffic on the state road
