If you are looking for a short but intense hike with stunning views, the Bözingenberg is the place for you. This mountain near Biel/Bienne offers panoramic views of the three lakes and the Alps, as well as a cozy restaurant to enjoy traditional cuisine. The Bözingenberg is a hidden gem that will make you feel like you're on top of the world.

A beautifully equipped picnic area with table and benches, barbecue area, information board and one of the few direct accesses to the Alte Aare. The rest area was built by the apprentices of Pilatuswerke Stans.

The Old Aare – a fascinating river landscape between Aarberg and Büren. It is a valuable habitat for numerous animals and plants. People from near and far love and appreciate it as an attractive relaxation area. This unique idyll was created as a result of the first Jura water correction in the 19th century. The mountain restaurant with a unique panorama The restaurant has been run by the current management since April 1, 2006. Karin and Roland Kilian skilfully set accents. With a variety of dishes, they stand behind an enjoyable cuisine and a gastronomy in which every guest feels comfortable. Is the focus on simpler mountain cuisine after a long hike or is it more a desire for a culinary flight of fancy... Roland Kilian, with his previously earned 16 points in the Gault Millau, is looking forward to the culinary balancing act. When the weather is good, you will find yourself at home in a world that is second to none! We will be retiring from 2024. Last opening day December 23rd, 2023.
