Located next to the Aareweg trail, almost below Biberstein Castle, you'll find this hut with a barbecue grill, seating, and a table. A quiet place to take a break.

This is the historic Martiloo Bridge over the Steiner Canal (a flowing waterway). The original covered wooden bridge dates back to 1875 and was replaced in 1988 by a new structure in the same style to counteract its dilapidation. It is 16 meters long, 3.86 meters wide, and 3.2 meters high, with an asphalt surface.

I drove past first. I didn't regret my return trip! A beautiful little lake, Aaschächli, hidden and quiet. A little idyll. Unfortunately, I was there at dusk, so I couldn't see much, but I could still see and, more importantly, hear the birds landing on the water, seeking nighttime shelter. A perfect place to unwind. A lovely outdoor area invites you to stop by. Unfortunately, it's closed on Sunday evenings. I don't know if it's open to the public. Does anyone have any information?

The Rupperswil bicycle bridge offers beautiful views over the floodplain landscape. It's worth stopping for.
