Solkan에 있는 이 다리는 85미터의 경간으로 세계에서 가장 큰 철도 석조 아치입니다. 1905년 Gorica와 Jesenice 사이의 Wocheiner Bahn의 일부로 건설되어 1906년에 개통되었습니다. 제1차 세계 대전 중에 파괴되었으나 원래 계획에 따라 재건되었습니다. 이 다리는 1985년부터 기념물로 지정되었습니다.

The thousand-year-old Abbey, whose origins are still unclear, has represented in the past and continues to represent today, especially thanks to its geographical location, a point of connection between East and West, where different cultures can meet and dialogue. Built around the year 1000, the abbey church is in Romanesque style and is dedicated to St. Peter the Apostle. It bears the signs of renovations over time, and architectural elements dating back to different eras (early medieval, 16th-century, and 19th-century) can be found.

A wonderful opportunity to compare the "now" with the "before." The now is the suspension bridge over the Soca River, accessible to cyclists and pedestrians. The before is the stone bridge of the single-track railway line. Both, as well as the emerald-green Soca River, are eye-catchers!

Relics of the Church of St. Valentine stand at a historic location (dating from World War I). From this height, breathtaking views to the south offer views down to Gorizia, the Soca/Isonzo River, and far into the upper Adriatic. To the north, a magnificent view of San Floriano.

Nestled in an enchanting hilly landscape, it's well worth a visit. All around are many dirt roads and paths winding up and down through vineyards and hills. It frequently hosts cultural events and exhibitions.

To see it well you have to go up onto the state bridge.
