A fortified building has been documented at the castle site since 1263. It was purchased by the Patriarch of Aquileia in 1303 and destroyed in 1309. In 1491, the building was sold to Bernardino di Floriano Antonini, who had it converted into a residential building. At the beginning of the 20th century, Enrico Paolo Salem, who had acquired the building in 1923, had the core of the complex completely rebuilt in the Romanesque style. Monumental building for peace

This monumental area is dedicated to the fallen of all wars. Built in 1951 in just six months, it is composed of an imposing travertine marble enclosure that encloses the Ara Pacis. Inside are preserved the clods from all the military cemeteries, both Italian and foreign, present on Italian soil, to symbolize the memory of the fallen of all wars. Near the monument, you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view.

Going up a long staircase, you reach the small church of Sant'Antonio immersed in the pine forest of the hill. It is a beautiful place, with nice benches to sit and enjoy nature, and in summer it also offers a pleasant coolness.

The bed of the stream is impressive as it is quite wide and extends far away. It is usually dry, but fills with water after rains in the mountains.
