The Berghof Babel in Wald i. Allgäu is a hotel and restaurant with an adventure farm. Directly connected is the Walder Käskuche with brewery and show dairy. On the farm you can observe numerous animals, such as cows, Haflinger horses, alpacas, rabbits, goats in their stables or in outdoor enclosures or running freely. A special experience for the children, who can also do a little puzzle tour here. Tobias Babel, who runs the farm with his two brothers and parents, was voted Germany's Farmer of the Year in 2024 because of his farm philosophy. The special thing about this philosophy is thinking in cycles and the goal of marketing the entire production directly. In front of the entrance area of the inn and hotel there is also the farm's own St. Margaretha Chapel.
