At the historic site of the Dolina dei Bersaglieri, we are immediately catapulted back in time, having to cross and follow trenches that lead to the small basin of the famous First Aid Post of the Great War, now an open-air war museum. The route is very easy, on paved and dirt roads, with very little elevation gain and a high level of interest. It's a shame about the very tall grass...

The monuments in this area remind us of the heroic deeds and the cruel and bloody battles fought here. Now we can enjoy the area, and I hope it will always be that way.
