The Giaf refuge is located at 1400 meters above sea level. It is one of the support points for entering the Friulian Dolomites park from the north.

The Rifugio Chiampizzulon, at 1,630 m, is open from the end of May to the end of September. It offers the possibility of overnight stays and catering service.
