I wasn't sure which I liked better here: the church, or the historically impressive rectory next to the church. In the end, I settled on "both".

I walked past here today. An impressive historic building for a rectory. Almost as big as the church right next to it...

A wayside shrine or Jesus cross. Right next to it, a bench awaits weary hikers and/or cyclists.

Rest area, playground, fountain ... everything is there. And also a public toilet. The fountain was created by the words Berger sculptor Thomas Resetarits. This is followed by a rest area, play areas for children, an event space and parking spaces for church, school and cemetery visitors. There are also plenty of parking spaces here as a starting point for hiking tours.

In 1908, today's chapel was built on the highest point in Wordsberg. It replaced the old chapel that had stood here until then, where the vault had collapsed the year before (1907). The chapel offers space for 55 people and is 9 meters long, 4.5 meters wide and 5 meters high.

The church, built in a modern style, houses the Pfundner bell from 1951. In 2019 a second, smaller bell was installed by the Grassmayr company in Tyrol. In the same year, both bells were provided with an electric bell. The cross on the bell tower and the sacred interior of the church were designed by Professor Thomas Resetarits from Wortberg.
