Varied and interesting tour; we started from Villaverla to then go down to Vicenza and then up through Dueville, Montecchio Precalcino. The first part is definitely better; in Vicenza it is necessary to pay a lot of attention due to heavy traffic even if the tour seeks less crowded streets. On the way back, some sections indicated as cycle paths were represented by sidewalks, therefore co-owned by pedestrians and with several exits from private properties, not exactly the best.... However, despite everything, to be recommended.

Considered the second oldest paper mill in Europe, a heritage of industrial archaeology, it is currently in a state of abandonment but there is a renovation project that should make it available for visits again.

Villa Porto (Villa da Porto Pedrotti) in Vivaro di Dueville is a Venetian villa from 1554, attributed to the architect Andrea Palladio. It cannot currently be visited inside.

The chapel is dedicated to San Cajetan. The view is beautiful coming from the cycle path right in front of the villa.
