It was built in 1958 by the illustrious professor Alberto Trabucchi for his devotion to San Marco. The style takes up and reinterprets the pure structure of the medieval-Romanesque churches scattered along our valley. The façade, enriched in the upper part by a circular window called "eye", is a hut, preceded by a portico with three round arches. The roof, with overhanging eaves, has two pitches, covered with Venetian tiles. The interior space evokes in its sobriety the meditative and prayer spirit typical of these "small" temples. The bell tower has a quadrangular plan and in the belfry there are nine bells, famous for the concerts held every year for the trophy in memory of Professor Alberto Trabucchi. Its verticality fits naturally with the severity of the surrounding cypresses. Even this sacred place, although recently built, embodies the typical architecture of the place in its volumes. The chromatic and landscape harmony of the materials make the church of San Marco pleasing to the eye, in symbiosis and synergy with the surrounding environment.
