Discovered while driving past, very nice

Around Münzenberg, along the old Jewish Trail, a historic route connecting Friedberg and Münzenberg, prohibition stones can still be found today, prohibiting passage under penalty of a fine. The trail ran from Friedberg to Steinfurt and from there over the hills east of Oppershofen and Rockenberg to Münzenberg. It was allegedly used primarily by Jews to drive their animals to the cattle market. The inscription on the prohibition stone reads: "Forbidden path (VBW), walking costs 30 Kreuzer (ZGB 30), riding costs 45 Kreuzer (ZRB 45), driving costs 1 Gulden (ZFB 1G) and a fine of 45 Kreuzer (45X ST)." The extensive castle grounds can only be guessed at. Here and there, remains of the walls of the old city fortifications can be found in the middle of the town of Münzenberg.

Great nature reserve not far from the prison… please do not enter… and I am talking about the nature reserve

Nice rest area with a table and a bench on a meadow orchard... but here too... no protection from the rain
