Very particular point of interest with a wooden bridge that floats thanks to boats. Watch out for floods in the river, sometimes it is closed for safety!

This cycle route starts from Cerese, passes through the Napoleonic fort of Pietole, along the Mincio embankment up to the Trivata water pump, descends towards Bagnolo San Vito, passes alongside San Biagio on the left and the Forcello archaeological park on the right and returns to Cerese passing through the fort again, the surface is asphalted for long stretches, the dirt road is only on the embankment between old Pietole and the Idrovora

Suggestive bridge over the Oglio river, made up of a series of boats connected to each other and in turn to the mainland with "sliding" ramps so that they can be raised or lowered depending on the quantity of water present in the Oglio river. Attention: in the event of major floods the Ponte di Barche is temporarily closed to traffic.

Watch out for nutria

This massive drainage system, located in the San Matteo delle Chiaviche hamlet of the municipality of Viadana, provides drainage for a hydraulic basin of approximately 32,000 hectares. It pumps the tributary waters through the Navarolo, Ceriana and Fossola canals into the Oglio river, with a total flow rate of approximately 53,000 liters per second. The plant, in addition to its hydraulic functions, is now home to the interpretation and documentation center of the ecomuseum of Viadana, Commessaggio, Dosolo and Gazzuolo.
