We passed through here on the third day of our Trier-Grünstadt tour. It's one of the most beautiful bike paths we've ever ridden.

The Saar cycle path is really beautiful and passes the lake with great views 🌞.

Directly on Sirona-Weg lies the Heiligenbösch Protestant Church, built on the remains of a Roman villa, of which some of the walls from the cold bath can still be seen. The church was extensively renovated in 1730 and 1960. The oldest part is the tower with its Romanesque double-arched window.

The view of Lake Bostal is a particularly attractive and picturesque experience in Saarland. Lake Bostal, which stretches near Nohfelden and Oberthal, offers a beautiful backdrop and numerous vantage points from which to enjoy the lake and its surroundings. The lake covers an area of approximately 120 hectares and therefore offers far-reaching views. Background: The lake is nestled in a gently rolling landscape that is lush green, especially in spring and summer. The view is often complemented by the shimmering water and the surrounding nature.
