It is loads of fun, and a great uplift service. There are so many different trails to ride, every ability is covered. I would plan for a whole day here, and you won't get bored! There's a very nice cafe at the bottom to make it all worthwhile.

A very popular trail at the Bike Park, a tech red-graded trail that runs well in the wet and dry. You can never tire of this trail as the line choices open up the more you ride it, look outside of the mainline. The A470/Vanta push up path runs parallel to the mid-section of this trail which is great to use if you wish to session segments of this trail. Trust the rocks, they do offer a lot of grip!

A great trail to warm up on if you're familiar with the Blues at Bike Park Wales. A little area just before you enter the woods provides a good place to stop and shake your arms out as you warm up, before you enter the woods and get onto the jumps. All features are rollable.

Craig Llysfaen, also known as Lisvane Graig, is a prominent hill of 265 m above sea level, overlooking Cardiff, some 7 miles north of the city centre.

Taking you down the final section to behind the trail centre, Bush Whacker is an easy blue-rated flow trail. It's a real feel-good trail that beginner and intermediate riders will love, while more advanced-level riders might be looking for the sneaky lines to make more out of the features along here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOxBns6sCps

According to Bike Park Wales, the red-rated Watts Occurring track is one of the most varied on the whole hillside and they rate it as a blend of flow and tech features. Watts Occurring starts halfway down the hill from the fire road, so you can ride a number of different trails from the top to get there, including Sixtapod, Wibbly Wobbly and ACDC. You'll find some great features for getting airtime near the top, with rollers, berms, shark fins and step downs. Then after a series of small berms, a long rock garden awaits and the trail finishes with a jump. Handily, it brings you straight back to the uplift, so you can lap straight back up again. https://youtu.be/pvSGFKVsgVA
