A great place to relax and simply enjoy the peace and quiet

A show like no other!

It is a very pleasant stop on the long dirt road that connects San Giacomo to Prà (and beyond), with several possibilities in the surroundings for excursions on foot or by bike, highly recommended. At the refuge you eat well, you can relax and you can also stay overnight. Recommended.

The place is also beautiful with the view of the valley below a beautiful meadow kept wonderfully

Positioned on the large plateau (Pian Rosso) above the town of Viozene, surrounded by vast green pastures, the Mongioie refuge is a splendid Alpine structure with excellent cuisine. Behind the refuge rise the imposing wall of Mongioie and the top of the Saline. This place is the ideal starting point for high-altitude runs and to reach the top of Mongioie. It also has a beautiful sun terrace with fantastic views.
