From the outside, it's a beautiful refuge. We couldn't see the inside because it was closed. It's easily accessible by parking in Case di Civago.

Natural border between the provinces of Modena and Lucca, the path on the Apennine ridge passes here from the top of Mount Rondinaio, which reaches an altitude of 2,000 metres. From up here you have a crazy view: on one side the Garfagnana and the Apuan Alps, on the other the Tagliole valley.
