this statue, just over 2m tall, has a stormy past. It was completely cut off by lightning a few years ago and then rebuilt. On the back you can still find the bronze plaque torn off and pierced by the lightning. A power given how it bent the lead. The view has nothing to envy to the more "popular" one of the Redentore near the top of Saccarello

When I visited in July 2024, the statue was being restored. The path is not always visible, but it always goes straight ahead and you can't get lost.

Mount Antoroto is 2,144 m high and is located in the Ligurian Alps. When I went up I was completely in the clouds but on clear days I can imagine a spectacular 360° view as there are no higher mountains nearby to obstruct the view.
