📍 Above Altwies This small chapel, also known as the "Chapelle du Castel," sits quietly on a hill where a Celtic oppidum once stood. Built in the 13th century, only the choir remains, but that's precisely what makes the place so special: simple, quiet, and steeped in history. Standing here, you sense time and significance. 💡 Tip: The climb is worth it – not only for the history, but also for the atmosphere. An ideal place for a short break surrounded by nature with spiritual depth.

📍 On the edge of Altwies, slightly elevated Slightly off the path, nestled beneath rocks, stands a statue of the Virgin Mary – surrounded by a small bench, flowers, and a tranquil atmosphere. 📍 In the vineyards above Remich There was more activity than usual between the rows of ripe vines today: harvest workers at work, full grapes, and the scent of autumn in the air. It's a true experience to observe this work up close – quiet, respectful, and full of respect for the craft. 💡 Tip: If you're out and about at the right time, you'll get a glimpse into the grape harvest – a fascinating spectacle that shows how much work goes into each bottle. Very nice circuit, beautiful forest and in addition the singing of birds. For info we parked our car in the parking lot of the medical center, the lap was 30 seconds.
