A short hike with no particular difficulties. The trailhead from Campitello Matese is unmarked and difficult to identify. The trail itself is poorly marked. For those like me who'd never done it, it's essential to follow the trail on an app or similar. The descent was made by descending from the chairlift side (which doesn't operate and doesn't appear to be in operation anymore), then descending along the ski slope, which halfway through features a barbed wire barrier (!) that I had to cross.

It is certainly worth getting here, except that if you continue along path 140 it stops being signposted and following the trail you find yourself climbing over a barbed wire, continuing the path starts again. Considering that at that point you could see cattle and hear dogs barking, you had the impression of finding yourself on someone's land. I therefore recommend going back. It's a shame because that side isn't bad

Pay attention to the ascent from the gully. The path along the gorge of the stream is narrow and overhanging, the ascent is exposed and without signposting. Recommended only in the driest seasons, otherwise the ground becomes slippery.
