Lake Matese is a karst lake located at just over 1,000 meters above sea level in the Matese Regional Park and nestled in the Matese massif. The lake has no tributaries, but fills with water coming from melting snow and from some perennial springs.

Gallo lake is an artificial lake located in the Matese Regional Park. With a dam it feeds the hydroelectric plant of Capriati in Volturno by exploiting the waters of the river Sava. The landscape around the lake is suggestive with the Matese massif in the background.

the area around Campo Figliuolo is full of surprises, with various springs, springs, valleys and very beautiful woods, in addition to the historical importance for the brigandage activities of this area.

From here it is possible to enjoy the view of Lake Gallo, an artificial lake that is used - like many other lakes of the kind - to power a hydroelectric plant.
