This bivouac is managed by the CAI Caserta and is located in an area of community interest. There are various paths that can be traveled from here, from Monte Marmolelle to the Temple of Jupiter, and you can even go as far as Casertavecchia.

Here there is a beautiful panoramic point next to the Sanctuary of San Salvatore. The church of S. Salvatore is still today the destination of many pilgrims, and every 1st May the Holy Mass is celebrated.

Croce is a mountain community at an altitude of 857 metres, and here you can also proceed towards S. Salvatore on the Via Francigena. Here are a small church and a former monastery.
