Worth visiting is the pleasant historic center, starting from Piazza Moro and the Mother Church and then immersing yourself in the characteristic alleys. Not far away is the sanctuary of S. Maria degli Angeli and the Mercadante forest.

The historic center of Cassano delle Murge is characterized by its ancient buildings. You can see the medieval origins, churches and towers. In Cassano delle Murge, agriculture is an important sector and there is a large production of almonds, oil and grapes.

Acquaviva delle Fonti is a municipality in the metropolitan city of Bari, and its name derives from the large aquifer that flows underground. It rises on the Murge plateau, about 300 meters above sea level and on the edge of the Alta Murgia National Park. It is famous for the production of red onion which has obtained various brands of recognition for its quality.

The town's most important monuments overlook this square: the Cathedral, Palazzo de Mari, and the Clock Tower. Piazza dei Martiri serves as the entrance to the old town. The square, once called "delle Beccherie," owes its name to the sad episode of March 31, 1799, when several republicans were burned alive by the "Sanfedisti" along with the tree of liberty they had planted in the name of the revolution.

The Curtomarino cave is a karst cavity formed approximately 2 million years ago, located near Acquaviva delle Fonti, in the district of the same name, behind the Miulli hospital.
