Be extremely careful as the trails are not maintained. I was hiking around Vesuvio this july 2025 and it was quite an adventure borderline dangereous.

It's important to buy a ticket online beforehand. If you forget, it'll be difficult, as the network isn't that good there! A nice lady helped me there and announced me at the crater so the other employees knew!
