콜레 산테라모 최고의 사이클링 경로

마테라 역사 지구에서 가장 큰 광장입니다. 18세기 중반, 1991년에야 재발견된 일련의 동굴들을 덮고 메우면서 조성되었습니다. 광장 바닥 아래에는 수 세기 동안 방치되었으나 오늘날에는 접근 가능한 산토 스피리토 암굴 교회(13~14세기 프레스코화 포함)와 1927년까지 공공용으로 사용되었던 대형 저수조인 팔롬바로 룽고가 있습니다.

13세기 풀리아 로마네스크 양식의 교회로, 당시 팔레스타인에서 온 수녀(‘nove’ 또는 수련 수녀) 공동체가 머물던 수녀원을 위해 지어졌기 때문에 산타 마리아 라 노바(Santa Maria La Nova) 또는 델레 노베(delle Nove)라고 불렸습니다. 15세기에 버려졌다가 17세기에 성 요한 세례자(San Giovanni Battista)를 위한 예배 장소로 다시 문을 열었습니다. 옆에는 산 로코(San Rocco) 구 병원이 있으며, 이곳에는 최근 발견된 17세기 프레스코화가 있는 크리스토 플라젤라토(Cristo Flagellato) 작은 교회가 있습니다. 예술가의 교회(Chiesa degli Artisti)로도 알려진 이곳은 오늘날 문화 센터의 활동 공간으로 사용되고 있습니다.

From here, turning around, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Santeramo in Colle. The landscape is undulating and hilly, characteristic of the Murge. The town emerges as a clear, compact patch, dominated by church bell towers. The view extends across an agricultural landscape of alternating olive groves, vineyards, and cultivated fields, punctuated by dry stone walls, historic farmhouses, and stretches of woodland.

Matera is an Italian city in the Basilicata region, the capital of the province of the same name. It lies on the edge of the Murgia plateau. Its surroundings are home to the most important caveman settlements in the Mediterranean region. Since 1993, the "Sassi di Matera" (Stones of Matera), the oldest part of the city, have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From the distance, you can clearly see the church tower of the Chiesa del Santissimo Crocificco (built 1672), as the church stands on the highest point of the town.

In 1672 , in the same area, a convent for minor friars and the church were built in the neoclassical Style with the donation by the Marquis Caracciolo . On May 1, 1931, the parish of the Santissimo Crocifisso was erected by decree of the Archbishop of Bari and Canosa Augusto Curi . On February 25, 2014, Archbishop Giovanni Ricchiuti consecrated the new altar of this church following the restoration desired and carried out thanks to the commitment of the current parish priest Mirko Korenkiewicz.
