Constanze Wagner's book "Voices of the Earth" in front of the town hall served as the starting point for the Agenda 21 art project "The Thin Red Line." Two of the old town hall doors represent the open book and are intended to remind us of our responsibility for future generations.

The artificial stupidity of image recognition now turns the Hungarian word kapscolat (relationship) into a lettuce :-) ... well, thanks for the automatic "improvement" of the highlight captions! The "lettuce" is the sculpture "Connection" by the Hungarian artist Hunor Szabó. It was erected in 2008 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the town twinning between Balatonfüred and Germering.

I often stop here at the end of a tour and enjoy the evening in the newly opened beer garden.
