The modern church of San Basilio Magno dates back to 1964. It is shaped like a large octagonal umbrella with a bell gable containing two bells and a large iron cross. Behind the church are centuries-old holm oak trees and a green area perfect for a peaceful picnic.

Gioia del Colle is a village characterized by its Byzantine origins. The narrow streets and white houses make this town very suggestive. It is worth visiting the Norman-Swabian castle which stands out over the town and houses the national archaeological museum.

The Duke of Martina farm is a historic building located in the heart of Puglia, built in the 18th century by the Duke of Martina, a nobleman of Spanish origin. Today the farmhouse is abandoned and in ruins, but still retains its charm and its architectural details, such as the stairways, the terraces and the church, with a cave inside that leads to an hypogeum.

The Gravina di Laterza is a canyon more than 200 meters deep and 12 kilometers long, which is part of the Terra delle Gravine Regional Park. It is one of the largest ravines in Europe, it is made up of limestone rocks eroded by water and has caves, pinnacles and other suggestive formations.

Ideal for enjoying a peaceful corner in the woods. Behind the church there is a fountain that is not easy to notice.
