Besides a church that is unfortunately usually locked, you can reach the Natural History Museum via a magnificent courtyard with a nice bar and outdoor area.

Easy climb but exposed to the sun with little shelter in the small hazelnut groves. The view from the top is worth the sweat, it is best to start early in the morning.

The hiking trail is very beautiful and also suitable for children. There are plenty of shade spots and great views.

Fantastic refuge with a part that is always open, immersed in the middle of the Madonie park. Equipped with a fireplace inside and a barbecue outside. Possibility of collecting wood outside. Always kept in excellent condition by the forestry department. Truly suggestive

A large metal summit cross, easy access from Ref. Crispi, wonderful landscape in the Parco delle Madonie, views in all directions, the most spectacular certainly to Castelbuono towards the sea (N)...it's worth it...also later on the stop at the CAS hut Ref. Crispi

What a fantastic view from up here! (360°). A wooden sign marks the summit (Sicily's second highest!). The path is steep on all sides but always easy to walk, never really exposed; only loose rocks could pose a problem. The area was apparently quite busy in the past (ski lifts, etc.), but nature is slowly reclaiming the infrastructure...great beech "groves"!

Beautiful view of the mountains all the way to the sea. But you have that almost everywhere in the Madonie.
