The Roman Catholic parish church of Waizenkirchen is located in the market town of Waizenkirchen in the Grieskirchen district of Upper Austria. The church, dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, belongs to the Peuerbach deanery.

The church was built as a stone structure at the end of the 8th century under the bishops of Passau. In the 18th century, the Gothic church fell victim to fire twice. Due to the great poverty and hardship, reconstruction was only carried out in a simple manner. Extensions and several renovations followed until the present parish church was built. The late Baroque church with Gothic elements was restored in 1987 and boasts a remarkable interior. Key details about the church: The church tower, including the tower cross, is 48 meters high. The warrior bell, or Twelve-year-old, weighs 1,489 kilograms. The Gothic main portal. The Baroque main altar. An altarpiece of Mary, St. Sebastian, and the Cross. The four altarpieces were designed by the famous painter Martin Johann Schmidt, known as "Kremser Schmidt." At Christmas time, the Hallstatt nativity scene is displayed there.

A very beautiful cycle path with views between Tollet Castle and the village of Grieskirchen. On the southern hill opposite, you can also see the over 2 km long avenue of fruit trees.

Even the outbuildings are stately, and the castle itself is imposing, housing the municipal and registry offices. A beautiful setting for celebrations.
