This intersection has a detour marked with a "dead end" sign because it climbs up to a fence known as "the old woman's fence" because "legend has it" that an elderly woman used to confront the many cyclists who dared to cross it to shorten the route to Jotron. I've never seen it, but it's true that this fence exists, and if you cross it, you can reach Jotron much faster (be careful, there's another fence with a gate halfway along the route that requires you to carry your bike up the hill and high, making it difficult to pass without assistance). In any case, it's worth climbing a section of this lane if you want to enjoy some of the best panoramic views of the city of Málaga from the mountains. I didn't do it today and continued along the plains lane (Lagar de Contreras) until reaching the junction with the main lane and climbing towards the Humaina Hotel and, later, the Mirador del Cochino.

I think he's referring to walking alone along the Torrijos Trail. Starting from the wine press, you reach the end of the trail and turn around. This trail is perfectly suitable for children and people who are not in very good physical shape, as there are no steep slopes and you can stop and rest in the areas with benches.

The route is definitely not intended for children and people with low physical fitness!!!

Trails in good condition, you can get there by car on a paved road to the Contadoras esplanade and park there, there is plenty of space. From there, getting to both the winery and the viewpoint is easy, they are wide paths in good condition. The views are excellent. It is advisable to bring water and food, there are no fountains or establishments where you can buy it anywhere.

One of the best views of Malaga city from the mountains without having to climb too high. This point is located halfway along the route known as the "Llanos" because it is one of the lanes with the lowest gradient and slopes, at the cost of doing more kilometers and a detour but as I say less incline. It is a typical route for those who rarely go out on the bike. After the steep slopes at the entrance to the Montes, taking this detour with less gradient and finding these wonderful views is worth a little rest and some photos.
