The climb to the top of the mountain is quite tough. With our 2 children aged 7 and 9, after a tip from the tourist office, we took the chairlift to 900m and from there to the top at 1171m via the red walk. Beautiful view at the top and on the descent we walked a bit towards Bjorkliden to be able to stand in the snow. After a wonderful break at the lift station, we made the walk down. Along the way you will cross a waterfall, which makes it extra adventurous. All in all, we walked almost 10 km, but because of the stop at the lift and a large part of it descending, it was doable for the children.
