The Margarethenwarte towers 31 metres high and offers a fantastic view over the Bucklige Welt, Rax, Schneeberg and the Vienna Basin to Lake Neusiedl. The observation tower is made entirely of wood and is a great destination for a hike.

The pilgrimage church in Lockenhaus is an impressive building in the Baroque style, the foundation stone of which was laid in 1656. It is particularly famous for the largest church organ in Burgenland, which has been playing since 2003 and attracts numerous visitors. Inside the church, you will be amazed by the magnificent altar of the Virgin Mary and the miraculous image of "The Mother of Good Counsel". The mystical "Black Madonna" is located in the crypt.
