The 360 degree view is fantastic and you can see almost all the mountain tours all around. So good for the first or last day in the Kaunertal. Easy way from the Ochsenalm car park to the summit, also good to do with children in about 2.5 hours. Take enough drinking water with you.

Good cake, Italian cafe, excellent view and very nice hut leaseholders make the Alm an excellent destination. Everyone is well looked after here, whether they walk around on two or four legs.

Magnificent ridge crossing. From the Verpeilhütte it is a nice climb past the small glacier lake. It gets very bumpy at the top, but with the safety rope this is not a problem in good weather. In the direction of the Kaunergrathütte there is a short via ferrata with a few ladders and steps. The view is fantastic in both directions!
