Great trail through the lava landscape at Montaña Samara…

This is the crater of one of the small secondary volcanoes that erupted around the imposing Teide. Looking over the edge gives you an idea of the magnitude of the forces that created this landscape.

The landscape of the Chupaderos ravine leaves you speechless. Despite its calm appearance, the topography tells of the violence of the creation of the volcanic landscape. The ochre and grey tones and the sharp stones speak of the high temperatures that shaped this beautiful place.

The path up Teide from Montaña Blanca is not technical at all. Its difficulty lies in the lack of air as you approach the top. It is not in vain that you climb from 1367 to 3718 meters. Enjoy the views because they are impressive!

Teide eggs are rounded rock formations that were created when they broke off from the top of Teide during its eruption and rolled down the slopes of the mountain at high speed. In this way, the volcanic material through which they passed accumulated, creating these curious shapes.

When the lava comes to the surface, it creates immense tongues that fall downhill, where at this point there is a good example of one of these.

From these high points of the island and on this northern slope, on clear days, you can see the islands of La Gomera and El Hierro on the horizon.
