Olvera has a beautiful hilltop location. The village is dominated by the heavy keep of the castle and the neoclassical silhouette of the Iglesia de la Encarnación, which towers over the old quarter with steep alleys and white houses. Olvera is especially known for its thick, delicious olive oil, considered one of the best in Spain.

The place itself is not that special. The bullfighting arena is interesting because of the recordings made here for the TV series Game of Thrones. Unfortunately we couldn't go inside. We don't know why, very stiff, unfriendly people at the checkout.

At the beginning of the Camino Cordel de Morón there are spectacular views of the Peñón. The mountainous system is characterized by being almost entirely rocky and with little vegetation in the elevated parts.
