The Castillo de la Duquesa, also known as the Fuerte de Sabinillas, is a fortification located in the town of Manilva, in the province of Málaga. It was built in 1767 during the reign of Charles III as part of an effort to fortify the coast of the Kingdom of Granada.

I couldn't find it, which was really bad. I then drove a bit along the motorway, luckily Spanish drivers are very patient. A sign would have been helpful there.

I wasn't sure how to get on the street here. A ditch and a fence that you can take away, is that a bike path?

Great view of Gibraltar especially if you're going southwards

While very picturesque offering views of The Rock of Gibraltar, parts of the route have a steep incline, are gravel only or very overgrown with broken tarmac - It looks well overdue some maintenance! Suitable only for mountain bikes, mountain e-bikes and professional/confident riders.
