This modern refuge is located in an unrivalled location. In addition to offering accommodation, it has an open kitchen, food service, bar, toilets, hot showers and heating.

The Ángel Orús refuge is located at an altitude of 2,150 metres and is perfect for starting the climb to Posets Peak. It has 96 places to stay overnight with bedding and blankets. The showers have hot water and it offers a meal service. It also has lockers, a multipurpose room and a bar-restaurant service.

Its position in the heart of the Benasque Valley makes this 2531 m peak one of the best viewpoints in the entire valley, as it is located right between the three large massifs, Maladeta (Aneto), Posets and Perdiguero, in addition to many others.

Grazing shelter whose use is exclusive to the shepherd during the summer months, but free the rest of the year. It is in good condition, it has two rooms, a triple bunk bed on the left and a fireplace on the right. There is no table. The space must be taken care of and left as clean or cleaner than what was found, also ensuring that the door is properly closed when leaving.

In front and a little further ahead of the parking lot on the edge of the road there is a sign indicating access to this valley announced by the large ravine that you had to cross with your car a few meters before.

After an endless climb during which you will have asked yourself several times what you are doing there, you finally arrive at the immense Cregüeña lake and any doubts will surely be dispelled. This imposing lake is the largest undammed glacial lake in the entire Pyrenees, with an area of more than 1.5 km and a documented depth of almost 100 m (like a 40-story building or the length of a soccer field). . All Aragonese lakes are protected as they are included in the Inventory of Singular Wetlands, so any activity that could modify the quality of their waters is prohibited. While bathing is not specifically mentioned, it is understood that bathing with chemicals on the skin such as sunscreen, deodorants, perfumes or creams is negatively affecting the quality of the water, so it cannot be done. The GR 11 has more than one variant as it passes through the Benasque valley, offering different ways to cross it. The GR 11.5 variant passes through the Acampament area, a continuation of the Plans dels Banys and Turpí, where the campsite and hotel of the same name is located. These plains are old glacial lakes that filled up over time and were areas that were used to set up summer camps for centuries, something that is now absolutely prohibited outside the campsites. The Natural Park regulations only allow free camping above 2,000 m, as long as there is no shelter less than 500 m away.
