Arcos de las Salinas is a small village in the Javalambre Mountains, ideal for hiking and nature lovers. Surrounded by mountains and crossed by the Arcos and Torrijano rivers, it is part of a protected area designated as a Site of Community Interest. Its scattered villages and farmhouses give it a very authentic rural feel, perfect for unwinding. Thanks to its altitude, the climate is cool, and snow is not uncommon in winter, making it a good starting point for excursions at any time of year.

Old hiking trail but still in good condition (a few regulatory stones due to the region, of course). No particular technical difficulty, much more fun than the wide track!

The summit is 2019 meters high. The path is demanding, but it is worth the effort. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are like something out of a movie.

One of the most beautiful towns in the area, as you can see the center sunken into the valley where the Río Túria flows.

Vallanca is a village that is located on the southern slope of a small mountain that reaches 970 meters of altitude. At its feet runs the Río Bohilgues, which originates in a nearby town, Vega, about 2 km south of the town.

Riodeva has narrow and steep streets, with beautiful facades of popular architecture and abundant samples of the local ethnographic heritage. A good place to park and start is the village plain, without entering the urban area, at the crossroads where the swing park is. Siliceous sand and kaolin mines abound in the Riodeva environment, dedicated to the extraction of raw materials to make porcelain, paints, ceramics, glass and other products of common use. The route leaves the park along the paved track that goes up to the town, surrounds the farmhouse to the right and in the upper part follows the paved Camarena de la Sierra path.
