But everything is there again, although the bridge is locked with doors and gates because it's unsafe. It's only used to divert water into the Rednitz River. Meanwhile, a gate has been placed over the ditch to allow crossing.

A nice information panel is located at a hiking parking lot. It explains the local birds. You can listen to their songs by pressing various buttons.

Fantastic, huge mill shop with a wide variety of goods. They have almost everything you could wish for. Coffee and delicious cakes are also available, and in the summer you can enjoy them in a small garden. The area of today's Mönchshof was the nucleus of Schwabach in the 8th century. A Franconian royal court likely stood here. In 1195, the property passed to the Ebrach Monastery in the Steigerwald and has been known as the Mönchshof ever since. The Mönchshof is the largest historic farm complex in Schwabach. The main building was rebuilt in 1539 and 1793, and during the first reconstruction, the Ebrach coat of arms was affixed to the exterior façade.
