Singing Sands Beach makes the perfect destination and turn-around point for a run. It's white sands and blue waters sure are inviting for a dip, and after a long tiring run, you'll be ready to dive straight in.

Here you will be afforded some sublime views up and down the coast of Scotland's western Highlands, specifically toward Sanna Beach and Ardnamurchan Point. The ground can get a little muddy underfoot here, so this route would be best completed after a dry spell.

The gorgeous River Sheil runs 3 miles through attractive low ground farming and crofting countryside on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Scottish Highlands. At this particular spot, a single-arched stone bridge built in 1804 spans over the river, creating a picturesque scene as you pass by.

You might find it hard to believe you're still in the UK when you arrive at the exotic looking Whitesands Beach on Scotland's northwest coast. Take a seat, or a dip, and enjoy the beautiful scenery before continuing on your journey.

This is an extremely picturesque walk just above the roadless village of Smirisary which is located along the wild and rugged coastline of the Scottish Highlands. Be captivated by white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and beautiful old cottages dotted amongst the moorland. The ground can get quite boggy underfoot here, so make sure to bring a decent pair of shoes along with you.

A well maintained gravel path leads you through this beautiful towering woodland located on the shores of Kentra Bay.

This lovely sandy bay near Gortenfern in the north-east of the Ardnamurchan peninsula is a wonderful place for a stroll or picnic.
