Very scenic drive there makes it all worth it. Good view, likely very busy during the season.

There is not much to see here, and overgrowth makes viewing any cascade or torrent harder. The Leap is easy enough to find following the signs from the visitor centre above. There is a steep path down to here.

Ignored the warning on Google maps that it's closed. Only the visitor centre was shut. The car park and view point itself were still open. While it is named after Queen Isabella, a 14th Century queen married to Robert the Bruce, many people believe it was named after Queen Victoria, who visited the site in 1866. The area was hugely popular in Victorian times and has remained so since.

Coffee and cake. Inside and outside seating. Good service. Bike racks.

Helpful service in the shop. The café is no longer affiliated with the bike shop, just a regular café next door.

Definitely worth a visit. Cafe - if open - and car park nearby. Asphalt path, wheelchair friendly, from cafe/car parking to viewpoint.

Beautiful route along the river and then a bit higher up the mountain. Good for all levels. Footbridge was closed but there is a small introduction about the larger bridge where they also bungee jump from

Pitlochry's wee ice cream shop serves Luca's famous ice cream, soft ice cream in 9 flavours and the Kloud candy floss ice cream treat.

Great ice cream, from soft serve to funky ice cream flavours including whisky.

The Ice Cream shop to visit. Always busy. They have interesting flavours including Tablet and Whisky however I can't avoid soft serve, and they could do chocolate vanilla combined.

They do not serve food anymore. But there is a cafe next to it. The original chef with the good vegetarian breakfast is now working in the garden cafe down the road.

Obviously, there's the View, but also some car parking for a potential start/finish location. Refreshments and toilets.

The only way to avoid the A9. The Killiecrankie visitor centre just north of here is a worthy stop.

Very helpful and informative the bike shop staff. Problems can be solved here. Cafe is excellent.

Allean Forest is a large area of coniferous plantation on the northern shore of Loch Tummel. There are great views across the lake from several places. Forestry Scotland manage the area and have two waymarked walking trails, both make great running loops: The Clachan Trail is marked with yellow and makes a 3 km loop. The Ring Fort Trail is marked with red, it's 4 km long.
