Suggestive semi-pedestrianized village. The climb to get there is about 1.5km with gradients reaching 12%, but it's worth it

Panoramic point from where you can see the islands of Zannone, Ponza and Palmarola. The square in front is on a dirt road. To get there you have to climb up to San Felice Circeo, about 1.5 km with gradients of over 12% and the other that takes you back to the town (the lighthouse is on a dead-end road) of 1.5 km of pedaling, with the last 3/400 meters at 10/11%.

Beautiful route on the narrow strip of land that divides Lake Fogliano from the sea.

The trail is usually open from July 1st to August 31st each year.

Continuing for about 1 km in the Mediterranean scrub that borders the Polygon, you reach the sea. Following the coast to the right you reach the Roman Astura, landing at the mouth of the river of the same name located along the Via Severiana, home to villas since the 1st century BC. One of these belonged to Cicero. On the site, between the end of the Republic and the beginning of the Imperial age, a villa was built, partly on the mainland and partly on an artificial island, equipped with a large fish pond, the remains of which are still partly visible (the fortress was then built on the walls in the sea in about 1200).

A climb with a unique panorama, a small canyon on the left and a mountain panorama on the right, many curves, until you reach the famous "Cathedral" natural monument ⛰️. It doesn't seem like it but all this peace is just a short distance from the "annoying" traffic of Terracina

Last curve before reaching the top of Mount Sant’Angelo, where there are the remains of the base that housed the temple of Jupiter Anxur. Panoramic point from which you can admire Terracina, San Felice Circeo and the Pontine Islands.

Right in front of the eastern beach or “spiaggetta”. There is also a fountain to fill your water bottle
