The Artemis trail was fabulous so I added it onto my tour whilst trekking around to the view point. For me it was worth doing the whole trail. Beginning of March there was a lot of snow which meant it took longer (sinking in snow drifts up to my knees) but also the snow made it was very beautiful! Completely worth the wet feet (in hiking boots)!

There is a large picnic area, a playground, a restaurant and, as a highlight for the children, a mouflon enclosure. The wild sheep with the mighty horns actually lives wild in the Troodos, but here you can watch them in an enclosure.

It's just crazy that there is a ski lift here! When you wander through the rocky landscape and suddenly find yourself in front of this lift station, you no longer feel like you are in Cyprus. In winter, a total of four short ski lifts are open and you can rent equipment.
