The Kanalbach carries the water of the Achern Mill Stream, crosses the Scheidgraben ditch on a concrete bridge, and flows into the Sulzbach. When the wooden weir on the bridge is opened, the water plunges into the lower-lying Scheidgraben. The Achern Mill Stream carries the water of the Acher River, which is diverted southeast of Oberachern – near the large fish ladder.

A beautiful path along the edge of the forest with a consistent gradient, rest areas and views into the valley.

Clock is the best I

I've also done some great shopping there—including potatoes, apples, raspberries, and even a very fine blackcurrant vinegar. Highly recommended.

Not only can you buy fruit and vegetables here around the clock, but you can also find specialty products like blackberry vinegar. It's worth a stop.

Town hall or church? Both are correct: Before 1880, this building was indeed a church. With the construction of the new Peter and Paul Church next door, it continued to be used as the town hall. Today, it's called the Old Town Hall because there are numerous other administrative buildings in Bühl.
